Ordering your custom hand drawn or hand painted portrait of your Tail Wagging friend is easy!

1. I will need at least two detailed, crisp photos of your pet. If emailing digital images, the file size is important as the larger the file size, the more detail I will be able to see. JPEG format is best. Photos showing your pet's expression and clear view of the eyes is very important. I believe that every animal's eyes are Windows to their Soul.
I am available, locally(El Paso, TX) to take pictures of your pet for my reference use, if you would like. The charge would be $25.00 additional.
2. Email your request with the size requested, along with your photos. Local clients may reach me at 915 219-7045
I will be happy to discuss any ideas you have for your portrait! We will discuss until you are comfortable and ready to order.
3. I require a 50% deposit to begin your portrait.(I accept Paypal) The balance is due upon completion and your approving the portrait. Once the balance funds are verified by Paypal, I will then ship your portrait via USPS(United States Postal Service) Priority. I would be happy to take local checks from local clients.
4. It usually takes about two weeks for me to complete your portrait, but my schedule varies, dependant on commissions, so it could take less time! I will happily let you know my schedule before you order.

Portraits are shipped well wrapped and padded, by USPS Priority mail.
Framing and/or matting is not included, as these are personal preferences I choose to leave up to my clients. Most sizes will fit standard frames.

As I hold my client's satisfaction in the highest regard, I have formulated the following policy.
I offer a satisfaction guarantee to my commissioned clients. If, after you receive your portrait, you are dissatisfied with the painting or drawing, you may return it for a refund- less a 10% charge for supplies-, within 10 days of receipt. The client must notify me of their dissatisfaction in writing, with an exact explanation as to their concern, within 24 hrs. of receiving their painting. Return shipping/handling charges, would be the client's responsibility, and the painting or drawing must be returned in good condition.
Upon the return of any portrait, I might ask the client to allow me to try to satisfy their concerns This policy is effective as of June/2010.
This policy may change at the discretion of the Artist, Barbara Yates.
Portraits already commissioned prior to any potential future change, will be covered under the current policy.
